Letter of Support for SOUTHLINE



Dear Members of the South San Francisco City Council and Planning Commission,



I am writing to express my support for Lane Partners’ SOUTHLINE project in the Lindenville area of South San Francisco. I support the proposed mixed-use project because it provides a great opportunity to add a vibrant development to our community that will include retail amenities and community open space along with class A office space. This development will help revitalize an underutilized area of the city while also creating a range of lower, middle, and upper-class jobs.



The proposed SOUTHLINE project aligns with the land use alternatives being considered in the South San Francisco 2040 General Plan update for the Lindenville area. Pedestrian and bicycle connections will be enhanced through improved walkways, bike paths, and lighting which will help facilitate safe and convenient access from the Lindenville area to the Centennial Trail, San Bruno BART Station, San Bruno Caltrain Station, and Tanforan Mall.



Again, I support Lane Partners proposed SOUTHLINE project and encourage you to support it as well. I am excited about what the future holds for this part of the city and believe the SOUTHLINE project will be a big part of that future.
